Timeline Extended for Comments
Dear participants of the Sierra Nevada Adaptive Management Project,
To maximize public stakeholder and MOU Partner review time, we are extending the deadline for comments on the SNAMP final report to Friday, July 24, 2015. All comments received by July 24th will be passed on to report authors for deliberation as they finalize the report.
The SNAMP report is available for download here (sections of the report are hotlinked to the report outline). If you wish to comment on the report, we have a survey available to record your comments. The survey is available at this link.
Because of cumulative delays and the fact that the Water Team was the last team to receive integrated modeling results necessary for their analyses, the Water Team’s contributions to the integrated assessment chapters (Chapter 3 and 4) are not yet incorporated into the final report. Their contributions are written and are currently undergoing a final review. We anticipate that updated versions of Chapters 3 and 4 will be available before July 24 and apologize for the truncated review period. We will send out an announcement as soon as the updated chapters are available.
The Water Team is also close to completing their individual team chapter (Appendix E). Once the Water Team chapter is released, the public and the MOU Partners will have a month to review the chapter and provide comments. The chapter will also undergo peer review. The July 24 comment deadline does not apply to the Water Team chapter.
Please contact me if you have any questions or suggestions about this final phase of SNAMP.
