Oct 15 2014 - CAM/Facilitation follow-up workshop

Oct 10 2014

A Collaborative Adaptive Management (CAM) and Facilitation follow-up workshop is scheduled for October 15, 2014, from 10am to 4pm in South Lake Tahoe at the Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board Annex (971 Silver Dollar Ave., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150). The purpose of this workshop is to review key CAM tools, hear from a guest speaker on their CAM/facilitation experiences and provide more in-depth practice for the more ‘difficult’ situations using scenarios suggested by you.

Our guest speaker will be Scott Conway, Restoration Ecologist for the US Forest Service. Scott was the Vegetation Management Officer in charge of the coordination and implementation of the Sagehen Collaborative Project on the Tahoe National Forest. He will be sharing his insights into collaboration and facilitation processes.

You need not have participated in both the winter/spring 2014 two part CAM workshop series to attend, so please do share this invitation with your colleagues.

The agenda will partly be based on input we receive from the registration survey. The full agenda is forthcoming.

Registration is required and there is a $15.00 lunch and materials fee for the workshop. Please register on-line at http://ucanr.edu/camworkshop/.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Kim Ingram at kcingram@ucanr.edu.
